I started recruiting in the early 1990s — sourcing candidates from phone books and Sunday newspapers before the internet changed everything. Over the next 25+ years, I led talent acquisition across virtually every operating environment: from a Fortune 500 S&P 500 real estate investment trust where I built the TA function from scratch, to a national resort and hospitality operator where I managed 18,000+ seasonal hires annually, to a specialty clinical hospital network operating across more than 25 locations where credential scarcity defined every search.
Along the way I built recruiting infrastructure, implemented technology stacks, turned around broken TA functions, and scaled teams under pressure. I've operated in markets where the talent simply doesn't exist at the volume you need — and where the only solution is to out-source, out-process, and out-brand the competition.
Now I bring that operational depth together with AI — not as a buzzword, but as a practical set of tools that reduce time-to-fill, eliminate manual overhead, and let recruiters focus on the work that actually moves candidates.
